Shitty Plates are porcelain paintings, painted in traditional way. First layer of the painting imitates the decorative styles, flowers and something what we are use to see on plates. The second layer of the painting imitates the more natural abstract painting, that we create on the plate unconsciously during eating. The contrast between something generally beautiful and repulsive was something I wanted to unite in these paintings.
